Dual marked RZM M7/66 1938 with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen squirrel holding sword TM. The nickel-plated hilt fittings show minor surface wear with some lifting primarily adjacent to the pommel and crossguard. The deep reddish-brown wooden grip shows minor wear with two extremely faint cracks, but no chips and with early quality grip-to-crossguard fit. The silver grip eagle and SA insert are properly inset with perfect fit. Polished blade grades EX++ with minor surface wear and runner marks, but no nicks to the cutting edge. The deeply etched motto retains 97% of its deep gray background frosting. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains nearly 100% of the original black enamel. Dent-free nickel-plated upper, center, and lower scabbard fittings show light surface wear with no lifting or pitting and no damage to the lower ball. All five scabbard screws appear to be unturned with no damage. Heavy silver-plated chain hanger grades EX+ with dark age patina and no damage to the links or connectors. The chain is properly marked on the reverse, “Musterschutz NSKK-Korpsführung” and RZM M5/8 (F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Ansbach). Dagger is complete with correct black leather belt loop.
