Description
PUMA, SOLINGEN with puma head inside diamond TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show surface wear with some lifting of plating to hilt and pommel. Black bakelite grip plates show one crack on the obverse side just below the HJ emblem which is inset into grip plate. Polished blade grades VG/EX- with much surface wear and Hitler Youth motto “BLUT UND EHRE” only faintly visible. Blade has been sharpened which was common for these knives. Dent-free, steel scabbard retains approximately 20-30% of original enamel and is complete with black leather hanger/belt loop complete with grip strap. PUMA is a very desirable maker for these knives and are highly sought after by collectors.
