Description
A rare, (9/10 on McSarr) early model 1933 SA Dagger with the Gustav Wirth of Solingen-Grafrath “W” TM. The blade has the acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto, runner marks on both sides of blade, light speckling, and the tip of the blade comes in a perfect point. The brown hardwood grip fits snugly to the hilt fittings. There is a chip that was glued back in to the obverse lower left corner (not sure by who or when). The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked “P” (Pommern). The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and the SA roundel both fit perfectly in the grip. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard is dent free, show age/wear with scratches on both sides of scabbard, The lower scabbard fitting has one minor indentation on the reverse side and the ball has a couple small indentations. All scabbard screws are in place. The brown leather hanger shows age/wear to the leather and the spring on the clip is tight and works properly.
