Carl Eickhorn “Solingen” Squirrel TM. Brass hilt fittings show light wear and reflect a beautiful dark, consistent patina throughout the hilt/spine, knuckle-bow/crossguard, deer hoof quillon and to the clamshell. Beautiful stag grip grades EX++ and is complete with three patinaed brass acorns. Double-etched blade grades EX+ showing little wear and fading to etch, no sharpening to cutting edge, but has some minor pitting and graying on both sides of the tip of the blade. Black leather scabbard shows normal age/wear with some rippling in the leather mainly on the obverse side of the scabbard. Upper and lower scabbard fittings reflect a beautiful patina consistent with the hilt, and there is one minor ding in the reverse side of the upper fitting. There is also one ding on the obverse and one ding on the reverse side of the lower fitting.
