Description
SMF over Solingen, seated king TM. This miniature measuring approximately 9 ½” in overall length features natural aluminum hilt fittings showing light wear to highlights with portions of factory darkening remining in the well detailed oak leaf embellished pommel and crossguard. Medium-orange, solid celluloid grip, age toned slightly darker on the obverse, shows minor surface wear with a small hairline crack on the lower obverse and reverse adjacent to the ferrule but, no chips or scuffs and is complete with tight, twisted, silver wire wrap. Plated, mirror bright blade grades EX+ with faint runner marks and minor lifting/speckling but no nicks to cutting edges. Obverse flat of the blade is jeweler-engraved with the name, “Alfred Teves G.m.b.H./Frankfurt a.M.” in block letters. Reverse blade is D.R.G.M. marked and complete with original blue leather blade buffer pad. Reverse blade is D.R.G.M. marked and complete with original blue/black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, blued steel scabbard shows brown oxidation to the lower obverse/reverse shell with much factory bluing remaining. The scabbard is complete with suspension bands and scabbard rings.
