Description
Carl Eickhorn “squirrel holding sword” TM. Etched on the top of the obverse blade is “V.P. to P.A.B. 23rd April 1945”. Since this presentation is etched in English, this Third Reich Hunting dagger most likely was presented from the German Hunter to an American or British serviceman at the end of the war. Scabbard fittings are stamped “19” on the reverse side. The hunting emblem on the obverse stag grip shows nice copper age oxidation. Upper reverse scabbard fitting is missing the staple. MINT.
