Description
No maker. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show some surface wear with loss of plating to crossguard. Two-tone orange celluloid grip shows no cracks or chips. Pommel is slightly loose from grip. Uncleaned, cross-grained blade grades EX++ showing minor surface wear/runner marks but no nicks to the cutting edge. Blade is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Dent-free, nickel-plated scabbard shows some age patina to pebbling, with some lifting of the plating toward the scabbard tip. Suspension bands feature the round holes associated with the Social Welfare service. A very nice example of a hard to find dagger.
