Description
Vintage Italian Naval Cadet Dagger featuring mother of pearl grip in MINT condition and gilt fittings. The crossguard has the lion head form quillon ends. The blade is stamped “Q” “O” near the ferrule on the reverse side of blade, has minor runner marks and some graying, no nicks to cutting edge and has not been sharpened. The scabbard is etched on the obverse side including the naval anchor and shows normal age/wear. Complete with fitting rings. The blue material case has the name “A. CARACCIOLO, Gioielliere, LIVORNO – LA SPEZIA” stamped inside the lid of the case, and a blue velvet indented lower portion of case that snuggly fits the dagger. The case latches close with one latch having a broken nail to secure it to the case.
